While It's In My Hand

So, it's been a long time. I mean, for this blog. Haven't had any posts since October!
I was talking with a friend, over Christmas. She said that she has to constantly remind her kids/family to put things away "while it's in my hand". I've really been keeping that thought in my mind about everything for several weeks. I even planned to carry it a step further and DO IT while it's on my mind! However, I dropped the ball last week. I must have thought 20 times that I was going to call Brenda and Dad to wish them a HAPPY 39th ANNIVERSARY! But, alas, I forgot.

SO, I do plan to carry the mantra further.......

When I want to talk to you - I'll call right then.
When we need to see you - we might just load up and come see you.
When something needs to get done - I'm going to try my HARDEST to get it done right then!

After all, life is too short. We have all learned this.

You Know Your Family is From Mississippi....

My Dad's side of the family had it's annual family reunion in Mississippi this past weekend.
