Santa's Village

While visiting Grammie and Grandpa's house, we decided to get the entire family over to Santa's Village. Dorothy, a great family friend, is in charge of the event - and we just knew that the girls would love it. Here is a photo of the entire motley crew!


While there, we wrote and sent a letter to Santa. She asked for Dora stuff and movies. She also promised to leave eggnog and cookies for Santa. That should ensure a happy Santa!

Thank Goodness for Mom!

This week, while catering for Rosh Hashanah, my Mom came to (1) help with Campbell, and (2) help with food. She makes the best potato salad, deviled eggs, tuna salad, etc., etc., etc.,

Mostly, I couldn't do it without her! She even filled in at the event one day when my regular person was out for a serious personal reason. ALSO, Coleman filled in that day with our sweet girl.

Campbell loves being with her Grandparents, and she should get the opportunity to see them all this month!

Bun Bun Day

There is no photo for today, as I couldn't find a digital photo handy - but, I will look!

Today, is my Grandmother's birthday. Well, it would be, if she were here. Of course, I would rather she be here. However, I always think of her as sassy and smiling - so, it isn't a sad day. I usually just call Mom and let her know that I am thinking of her, and Bun Bun.

She should have been born now - women have so much more power and many more options.
She was a force, and I miss her today (with a smile).

Let the Festivities Begin!

Mom and Terry came in a couple of days early to spend some time with Campbell before all the craziness ensued. They wanted her to go ahead and open some of her presents from them tonight (tomorrow will be pretty crazy!).

She Really Is Growing Up

OK, like I said - I'm drinking it all in this week. She is changing before my eyes. I went to a consignment sale tonight while Grammie and Grandpa watched Campbell. Coming home with 'new' things spurred a fashion show from the 'fall closet'. She took a little break - and let me catch a smile. She just looks like such a big girl in this photo.

Welcome Home!

I haven't seen one of my brothers, Matthew, in about 3 years. He has been living in St. Louis. With 'Cee' being born about that time - we haven't traveled up there often enough (I have another brother and sister in the area as well!). Anyway, he has now moved back to our home town.

Cee can't wait to meet her Uncle Matthew - officially!
