Just to be on the Safe Side....

I have never considered myself,
(if you give someone a knife, they must pay you something - even a penny - you don't want to sever the relationship)
even the least,
(do not wash clothes on New Year's Day, or you will wash people out of your life)
little tiny bit,
(do not tell anyone your dreams until after you have eaten breakfast, or it might come true)
SUPERSTITIOUS!
I'm serious - if you ask me, I will say no! However, I do abide by these 'rules' and more. I guess I'm playing it safe? How crazy is that?

Let's see, I also cross the windshield with an 'X' if a black cat crosses. What is up with that? Do you have any goofy superstitions or habits? PLEASE SHARE!
p.s. I thought of another one...
I pick up my feet, in the car, when I cross any state line?

Unless you are born in October, you should never wear opals.

when a rabbit runs across the road in front of your car ...you must say "damm the rabbit", and turn your hat around backward....my father always did this...i think it was a way of keeping awake on a long trip...to his embarrassment he once went into a restaurant with his hat on backward....

My grandmother is VERY superstitious - one thing she did was to never pass the salt across the table to someone by hand, she set it down on the table, or made them set it down before accepting. If she spilled the salt, she would toss some over her left shoulder - never an explanation as to what would happen, except 'It's bad luck' - sadly, I practice both of these salt traditions today...

I have always heard that you should not backtrack after you leave out of the driveway on a trip if you forget something. Brings bad luck. Also, the first person you want to enter your home on New Year's Day is male, dark hair, and he should be bearing gifts. If he does not have anything to bring in have him to pick up a pebble or twig to give to you after he enters the door. Also I have to have the entire meal that goes along with that day because you do not want to take a chance on anything in the new year. I can't help it .... old habits are hard to break!
