Getting in the Veggies

Between trying to make myself eat better food, and trying to get the rest of the family to do the same....I have vowed to include more veggies in the meals (specifically, colorful ones). This week, we have had asparagus, okra and brussel sprouts. It was tough - but, I did it (did I say that?). Boiled Okra - YUK! I'm trying to force our little girl to eat things that I can't stomach. So, I've resorted to the book above. While I haven't tried it yet - I plan to this week. It is all about 'hiding' vegetable puree in food - and still loving every last bite. It is supposed to be something that Moms do for their kids. Hell, I need it for me! I'll keep you updated on the progress!
