A Very, Berry Day

The fruits of our labor! Campbell and I made our first organic strawberry jam. As the candy thermometer wasn't working properly, we may have done some overcooking. So...It is really yummy, and SUPER thick.

The yummy part is most important, right?

Sunday Supper

We hosted the neighborhood get together tonight. The kids all crammed in together on the 'little' picnic table. They love it! Aren't they sweet? They do so enjoy playing - and we enjoy visiting with the adults, as well.

The Little Bride!

Well, I have some news - my girl is getting married! While watching the Little Mermaid the other day - she threw on a little something and came to tell me the news.

Also, she mentioned that she already had a baby in her tummy?!?! I told her that she must have been married for A WHILE! Well, at this point, we discussed the 'preferred' order of events for our girl.

While I would certainly recommend being 25+ - she sure does look cute!

Today was the Montessori picnic to celebrate the end of the school year. These ladies have YEARS of experience, tons of patience, and lots of love that they give freely to my girl and lots of others. We can't wait to see them again next school year!

All My Eggs in One Basket

I have been buying my organic, free-range eggs locally. Aren't they beautiful?

They Say It's My....Mother's Day....

Well, it was my Birthday too!

Anderson was SO brave, and pulled his own tooth while we were celebrating the two occasions.


She always enjoys getting to see Anna Vassar. They are so sweet together.

After brunch, we went for a garden tour around the historic Albany neighborhood in Decatur.


Even though it rained, we had a beautiful walk...


and enjoyed the gorgeous gardens.


A new playground opened in Delano Park - Anderson and Campbell enjoyed playing there.

The Carnegie Children's Museum had these beautiful butterflies all over the area.

We even helped release a few.

I'm guessing that this one is 'ours'.

It was a great day, and a great way to celebrate Mother's Day AND my birthday!

Campbell's first ballet recital is tonight - we are so proud of this little munchkin. She and her little friends are so cute, and they have practiced so hard. Can't wait!

The Waiting is Over!

This was the practice session the night before the recital (the girls aren't dressed alike and the teachers aren't in leotards, etc.). Although, who cares - they are still too precious! If you can't tell, our girl is the last one on the right.

She can't wait for Ballet Camp this Summer!

Dress Rehearsal

We are very excited about her first recital. She may be on the stage for less than 5 minutes - I could care less! She LOVES ballet - and we love Miss Anna (reference legs) and LSPA. Can't wait until next year!

Alfresco

After YEARS of trying to get the timing right - we got to enjoy a lovely dinner, outside, with friends. We stayed up WAY past our bedtime (and WE don't have one!).
